Pepita Coffee
Pepita Coffee is a sustainable coffee business that collaborates with artists to create uniquely reusable coffee tins filled with coffee. My enduring relationship with Pepita began when the owner reached out to me to create a vibrant animated and live-action video promoting their upcoming collaboration with Fatboy Slim and the award-winning illustrator George Fox.
Fat Boy Slim Animation
Pepita’s owner was quite fond of my person artstyle and wanted to incorporate it into the video to attract a more fun and youthful audience to their brand. The inspiration came from VICE’s animated videos, where celebrities share their experiences alongside animation that enhances storytelling and engagement.

The release of the animation managed to achieve a reach of around 70,000 views.
Fatboy Slim enjoyed working with Pepita so much that he bought 30% of the company, effectively becoming a business partner. This entire project also fostered a strong bond between Pepita and I, paving the way for many more collaborative projects in the future.
Packaging
Although the coffee tins are already quite striking on their own, Pepita requested that I create a luxury gift box for the tins.

The design needed to strike a balance between boldness and minimalism. I aimed to link the slogan on the box with the packaging's design by incorporating ascending lines that gradually decrease in thickness. This concept held a dual significance, serving as a nod to sound waves and Fatboy Slim's DJ career.

The concept behind this animation was to produce an Instagram reel highlighting the bestselling coffee tins. The initial concept involved creating distinct spaces for each coffee tin to encapsulate its aesthetic, designed to be shared on Pepita Coffee's social media platforms.
